FAQ

How does Renewed Tech's grading system work?

Cosmetic condition is an important consideration when buying a renewed device. The industry standard system of grading runs on a scale from Grade A to Grade C, with A the best quality and C the lowest quality of cosmetic condition.

The Renewed Tech grading system uses Like New (Grade A), Very Good (Grade B) and Good (Grade C) to indicate cosmetic condition. All Renewed Tech products are thoroughly tested and work perfectly, so you can be confident in your buying decision. See below for details on each of the three grades.

Like New Condition

Like New is the very best quality you can expect. The cosmetic condition is excellent, showing next to no signs of previous use. A phone may have minimal amounts of scuffing on the case, while a laptop may have minimal marks on the lid, keyboard, and other areas.

Very Good Condition

Very Good is the second-best cosmetic condition and will exhibit some light scratches or scuffs. As a result of these minor signs of use, these products are more affordable than Like New devices.

Good Condition

Good is the lowest cosmetic quality. These devices have been tested, cleaned, and confirmed to work but they will show noticeable cosmetic issues, including significant scratches and signs of wear and tear. Good devices are the least expensive, making them ideal when working with a limited budget.
